Please come out, support and celebrate the beginning of a new school year and a new city school system!!
Warrior Night is currently scheduled for Friday, August 16 at 7 pm. Our City Officials and our Board of Education will be unveiling our new logo for school system!
ASEF is also providing a fireworks show for the community and ALL of our football team will be participating as well.
THIS IS PROMISED TO BE A GREAT, FUN FILLED FAMILY EVENING FOR US ALL !
The ASEF just completed installing a new sound system at the stadium. We are very excited about this improvement and the benefit it brings to many groups at THS! We are also doing repairs to the press box. Windows have been replaced, and we are currently working on the flooring and other areas of improvement. The band has been given $5000 for concession stand repairs. The red wind screen around the stadium is still under warranty, and we are working with the vendor to get this replaced due to the fading. Lastly, we will be repainting around the stadium areas that have faded.
Thanks to our supporters, booster clubs and sponsors, ASEF has been able to facilitate the following:
- Repainted the press box at THS stadium
- Wind screens up around the THS stadium
- Repainted buildings and cleaned bleachers at THS stadium
- Resurfaced THS gym floor
- Weights for workout room
- Contributed funds to Track, Band, Wrestling, Baseball
What are we working on now?
- Raising money for a new press box on home side; we hope to make this a reality this year!
Our next goals are:
- New concession stands
- New track
To continue growing pride in Alabaster, we need everyone’s support and help to accomplish these goals!! Contact us to see how to get involved.
ALABASTER — The Thompson High School boys’ basketball team didn’t want to disappoint its passionate fan base.
The Warriors were christening a newly renovated gymnasium, recently completed with the help of a $14,000 donation by the Alabaster Sports and Entertainment Foundation.
The Alabaster Sports and Entertainment Foundation is taking its emphasis off a proposed turf field for Thompson High School’s Larry Simmons Stadium and instead focusing on projects for several of the school’s sports.
